Aged Care and Disability Services Career Launchpad Program
This career launchpad program aims to improve employment opportunities by providing the necessary entry-level skills for participants wanting to gain work in the aged care and disability sectors.
You will learn how to support independence and well-being, gain a range of technical skills, and develop a range of transferable skills from communication to teamwork. Our highly-experienced teachers provide one-on-one guidance and support every step of the way, to ensure you have the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the field.
Potential prospective Job Titles include: Assistant in Nursing (AIN), National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) service provider, Disability Support Worker, Support Worker and Personal Carer.
As part of this program participants will complete FSK20113 Certificate II in Skills for Work & Vocational Pathways and CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support.
Program duration is 12 weeks, followed by 120 hours of work experience.
